From windscreens to passenger saloon glass, whether damaged in service or requiring specialist attention.
Our prime activity focuses on the supply and fitting of windscreens and body sideglass to main line trains, light rail trams and underground systems, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, nationwide. As rail glass is considered a safety critical item and so specialised is the installation, that our depot inducted Glass Fitting Technicians are trained up to a superior, industry leading standard giving us a pool of the most professional people in the aftermarket glass fitting business; in addition we offer a wealth of glass-related specialist knowledge and are committed to providing our customers with 100% support, 100% of the time.
We operate within our quality management system ISO:9001 that is accredited by the BSi and we are Certificated by RISQS for the installation and supply of glass to UK rail fleets. Our public liability insurance covers all of our activities in this sector and is far in excess of the minimum level required, and we hold FORS accreditation.
Our rail customers are assured that before any installation work is carried it is first safety risk assessed before being carried out to a strict procedure. All completed jobs are traceable and are issued with a Certificate of Conformity to the relevant Rail Group Standard and with a Safe to Return to Service Time declaration to ensure compliance with any curing times.
The latest generation of high-speed trains, which have aesthetically designed raked back bonded windscreens, presents some unique challenges for glass replacement, but PSV Glass & Glazing successfully meets these challenges with highly competent Technicians using specially developed lifting equipment and tooling.
Our ERP scheduling system will provide a portal for our rail customers to access schematic diagrams of their fleets enabling the accurate identification of glass and the electronic booking and tracking of all jobs.
